¦ Newly Developed 2/3-inch Global Shutter CMOS Sensor
A 3-CMOS optical system using a newly developed 2/3-inch CMOS sensor boasts an S/N of 62dB and a sensitivity of F11 (2160/50p) / F10 (2160/59.94p) in 4K. The high dynamic range of the sensor produces high-quality images with excellent color reproduction. The CMOS sensor incorporates a global shutter pixel architecture, enabling the camera to capture natural images even under challenging situations. Still frame replay of fast-moving objects is free from geometric distortion. And there are no flash bands when the camera is shooting under strobe lights or flashes from still cameras.
¦ 4K Video Output Direct from the Camera Head
The integrated video process enables self-contained operation in 4K. With 4K 12G-SDI and 3G/HD-SDI output, the UHK-X700 can utilize a wide range of video devices as accessories to enhance its operational capabilities.
¦ HFR Capturing (Option)
With the HFR option, up to 2x speed in 4K and up to 8x speed in HD* is supported. This is effective when shooting fast-moving subjects such as sports. * with BSX-100/CCU-X100
¦ Equipped 2/3-inch B4 Bayonet Lens Mount
The B4 lens mount enables the use of existing lenses. Optical characteristics such as depth-of-field will be nearly the same as 2/3-inch HD cameras. For demanding applications, such as live sports and events, 4K resolution contents can be produced just as easily as conventional HD programs.

The camera system supports as standard various video formats and frame rates, such as 3840 x 2160p, 1920 x 1080p, 1920 x 1080i and 1280 x 720p, for both 59.94 and 50Hz.

¦ 16-axis Color Correction
The color matrix function enables precise color adjustment for all occasions. 16 axes of the color gamut can be fine-tuned in both hue and saturation. The function works in real-time and is extremely beneficial for live multi-camera applications.
¦ Wide Color Space
The newly developed optical system delivers High Dynamic Range and a wide color space, supporting the BT.2020 color space specification in the 4K mode, and the BT. 709 color space in both 4K and HD modes.
¦ Gamma Profile for High Dynamic Range
The gamma setting is selectable and can be customized to create a specific tone. The “HLG“ (Hybrid Log Gamma), which conforms the international standard (ITU-R BT.2100), is pre-installed and enables more neutral image quality with high contrast for a wider dynamic range. This allows for more image information to be retained with greater headroom and color grading.
¦ Viewfinders
The UHK-X700 offers the choice of three newly developed viewfinders. They apply the new Focus Assist function that supports accurate focusing in both 4K and HD modes. The digital interface allows access to the camera menu from the viewfinder. WFM, and Vector scope functions are built into the large studio viewfinders.
