Crystal Vision’s products are either individual boards or software apps that run on the MARBLE-V1 media processor hardware. These boards all need to be housed in rack frames and require rear modules to access the various inputs and outputs.
There are two frame systems available.
Vision is the industry's most forward-looking frame system and is aimed at those working with IP installations or who want the most features on their SDI products. With one of the highest packing densities available, Vision can house up to 20 cards in 3U.
The Indigo frame system offers a choice of three frame sizes and the biggest range of products. With Indigo you can house 12 boards in 2U and six boards in 1U – or you can put two boards in a desk top box for non-rack mounted installations.
Both the Vision and Indigo frame systems offer the flexibility for different types of products to be mixed together.
The frames offer different levels of control to suit all preferences. Both frame systems offer an integrated control panel on the frame itself, the VisionWeb web browser control, the VisionPanel remote control panel, SNMP and our ASCII and JSON protocols. Additionally available for the Indigo frame system are the Statesman Lite PC control software, GPIs, two dedicated control panels and board edge switches.
To access the inputs and outputs, a wide choice of rear modules slot on to the back of the frames and offer varying numbers of inputs, outputs and loop-through options along with the choice of BNCs, Micro BNCs, D-Type, 'easywire' DIN 41612, RJ45 and fibre connectors.
